An integrative course connecting mind and body healing through research and practice in neurobiology, medical hypnosis, psychedelic research, fractals, laughter yoga, and shamanic training ….
In this groundbreaking course, DrBlue combines his diverse scientific and clinical research and shaman experiences and training to create a new model for healing by way of mind/body integration. His work with the pioneering Neurosculpting Institute in Boulder Colorado inspired him to create a Map of Cognitive & Physical Controls. This map facilitates the creation of mastery skills; a “martial art set” in attention. DrBlue’s research lab focused on re-imagining hypnosis as a set of skills that seekers can learn and master, while having fun. The classes use music, motion, meditation and play, in addition to DrBlue’s lectures and guest speakers. His newest book, Lessons from Hypnotic Realities, is in process.

Tribal Vision Festival 2019 is proud to present Norman “Dr. Blue” Katz, PhD, Co-Founder of the Erickson Institute for Clinical Hypnosis. His recent experience includes training hundreds of physicians and healers in Medical Hypnosis and Meditation Bases skills in the U.S, China, Bali and Guatemala. He practiced as a Clinical Psychologist for more than 30 years, but now does "Shamanic Meditation based Hypnosis" He holds a PhD from Washington University, St. Louis. in Clinical & Experimental Psychology from Washington University and he interned at the Harvard University Children’s Hospital Clinic. He was an Assistant Professor in the Psychology Department and an Associate Clinical Professor in Family Practice & Psychiatry in Medical School.
