FACULTY:
Norman W. Katz, Ph.D. is a world leader in the field of hypnosis, known for his unique
contributions to the field. He earned his Ph.D. in clinical and experimental psychology at
Washington University in St Louis MO and then interned at Harvard University Children's Hospital
Clinics. He then taught and conducted research at the University of New Mexico as Assistant
Professor in the Psychology Department and as Associate Clinical Professor in the Medical School in
Family Practice and Psychiatry. Dr. Katz founded the Erickson Institute for Clinical Hypnosis in
1970 with Milton H. Erickson MD and since then has trained thousands of healthcare practitioners in
clinical hypnosis. He has conducted wor1<shops in hypnosis throughout the world during his 50
years in the field, including China and Southeast Asia
CURRICULUM
Three 15-hour courses: three credit units and 45 professional CE hours.
March 5, 12, 19, and 26 (Friday mornings):
